Website design and development

Mobile-first website design and development.

A business website should look considered, explain your services clearly and make the next step straightforward. Spectre Stacks combines website design with hands-on WordPress development for service businesses: new websites, purposeful redesigns and focused landing pages built around the people using them.

You can hire us for a website project without an advertising-management contract.

Built around real service-business decisions

Your visitor may arrive through a referral, an organic search, a business listing, a direct link or an advertisement. The page should help them understand what you do, whether it fits their need, what supports your credibility and how to start a conversation.

We plan the website around those decisions instead of assuming every business needs the same page count or a full marketing contract. Service scope, real operating areas, approved project examples and the inquiry process guide the structure.

Visual design is part of the work

We consider page composition, typography, spacing, navigation, imagery, brand consistency and the order in which a visitor encounters information. Mobile comes first, so headings, cards, forms and images remain usable at phone width before wider layouts are added.

Choose the project

Choose the project your business needs

Start with the job the website must do. We define the page plan, content responsibilities and required functionality before the build.

A new website

Start with your services, audience, identity and the action you need visitors to take. You do not need an existing domain or website to begin a project conversation.

A redesign of an existing site

Improve presentation and usability without assuming everything should be discarded. We review useful content, important URLs, search visibility, customer paths and integrations before changing structure.

A campaign or service landing page

Give one offer a focused destination with relevant information, proof and an appropriate inquiry path. It can support a campaign, an external marketing provider or a specific service launch.

What your payment covers

The setup payment and part of each monthly payment pay for the website build. The rest covers hosting and technical care. Once the 12 build installments are paid, the build portion ends and only the listed care fee remains.

The total build prices are $799 for Website Launch, $1,359 for Business Website and $2,499 for Growth Website. You may instead pay the build price separately and pay only hosting/care from launch.

Monthly payments begin at the agreed website launch. Standard scope and platform suitability are confirmed before work begins.

What is separate

Domain registration and renewal, paid email accounts, paid third-party software, advertising spend and applicable taxes are additional. Custom applications, ecommerce, complex migrations, original long-form content and ongoing SEO or advertising management require their own scope.

All plans use your own business identity and approved content. The lower starting price comes from focused scope and reusable construction—not from removing mobile usability, working forms or sound launch foundations.

Do I need an existing website?

No. We can plan a first website from your business details, services and approved materials. Your inquiry does not require an existing website address.

Do I own the website?

You retain your domain account, supplied content and business data. The agreed custom deliverables are yours once the build is paid, with access and a standard handoff. Third-party software and assets remain subject to their licenses; any ongoing or replacement licenses are explained.

Can I stop before the 12 payments are finished?

The website build has a fixed total price. An early exit settles the unpaid build portion and any earned charges; it does not automatically charge every future hosting month. The exact payment and handoff terms are stated in your agreement before work begins.

Is SEO included?

Every build includes appropriate launch foundations for its pages, including titles, descriptions, headings, relevant image alternatives, internal navigation and crawl/indexability checks. Ongoing research, content development, local visibility work and measurement are separate services. Rankings and leads are not guaranteed.

Does serving more towns make the website more expensive?

Not by itself. Price changes when the work changes—for example, additional unique service pages, distinct locations, more original copy or custom functions. A truthful service-area statement is not priced as a page for every town.

What counts as a minor content edit?

A small change to existing supplied text, an image or business hours. New pages, design directions, research and custom functionality are separately scoped. Monthly edit allowances do not roll over.

Will my website use Spectre's visual design?

No. Your site uses your own brand. We use maintainable components and a mobile-first process; the design direction is agreed for your business.

What the work includes

Design and development scope for your website

A website project can include planning, visual design, development, forms, content support, and launch checks. Your selected package and written scope identify which work is included and which additions are quoted separately.

01 / Scope option

Architecture and content planning

Map audiences, offers, page hierarchy, internal links and conversion paths around real customer decisions before visual production.

02 / Scope option

Landing pages

Build focused campaign or service pages with relevant information, proof and an appropriate inquiry path—not Ads-only destinations.

03 / Scope option

WordPress and Elementor implementation

Build the agreed design with maintainable WordPress and Elementor patterns, reusable components and clear controls where they fit.

04 / Scope option

Forms and quote tools

Design visible fields, validation, notification routing and confirmation behavior around real customer and operational needs.

05 / Scope option

Platform fit

Use WordPress and Elementor when they fit; recommend another approach when content, integration, performance or application needs justify it.

06 / Scope option

Accessibility and performance

Use semantic structure, keyboard access, readable mobile layouts and optimized media. Specific commitments are scoped; a tool score is not a certification.

07 / Scope option

Ownership and handoff

Hand over the page inventory, access record, reusable component notes, launch checks, editing guide, dependencies and ongoing responsibilities.

Search foundations can include page titles, descriptions, headings, internal links and crawlable content. Foundational SEO is not an ongoing search campaign or a ranking guarantee.
Not automatically included: Brand strategy, custom photography, paid media, complex application development, copywriting beyond scope and formal accessibility certification are separate unless included.

How the engagement runs

A practical build process with visible decisions.

  1. Clarify the business and scope
  2. Plan the pages and visual direction
  3. Build and connect the agreed functions
  4. Check the website before handoff
  5. Hand over the controls and responsibilities
Website scope stands on its own. Ads, search, analytics, automation, and hosting connect only when they are in the agreed project. See The Spectre Stack for the optional layer map.

Worthy Landscaping: the website beyond the homepage.

The Worthy refresh connects a redesigned homepage with service navigation, mobile estimate paths, and reusable page patterns. It shows how a local-service website can receive a more cohesive presentation without treating every service and location page as a disconnected design task.

Buyer questions

Questions about a website project

Do I have to buy Google Ads management?

No. Website design and development is an independent core service. You can commission a new site, redesign or landing page without an advertising-management contract, add Google Ads management later, or combine both in one itemized proposal.

Can you work on a website I already have?

Yes, subject to a review of the current platform, access and condition. Sometimes a focused improvement is more appropriate than a rebuild. The recommendation should follow the need.

Do you write the content and prepare the images?

Copywriting, editing, image preparation and content migration can be included. The proposal identifies what Spectre Stacks supplies and what the client needs to provide or approve.

Will a redesign preserve my Google rankings?

No one can guarantee that rankings stay unchanged. We review important pages, content, URL requirements and search foundations to reduce avoidable risks.

How long does a website take, and what does it cost?

The published packages state the build price, monthly payments and care fee. Work beyond a package depends on page count, design, content, integrations, approvals and migration needs. We agree on fees, dependencies and the delivery plan before starting rather than promising one timeline for every website.

Will I be able to update it?

The agreed editing controls and handoff are designed around the people maintaining the site. Routine content changes and more technical changes are distinguished so you know what you can manage.
